International Ship Suppliers Association - ISSA Annual Meeting and 66 ISSA Convention

On October 25-27 in the Spanish city of Seville, the annual meeting of The International  Association of Ship Suppliers  /ISSA/ was held  and the 66th Convention on Global Issues Related to Ship Supply was organized by them. The Bulgarian Association of Ship Suppliers /BSSA/ was represented by the Chairman of the Board, Mr. Alexander Alexandrov, a member of The ISSA Assembly .

During the ISSA annual meeting, topics related to the development of the organization, the support it provides to national organizations, the improvement of the business environment and those related to the sustainability of ship supplies, new requirements and trends for environmental protection were discussed. In ISSA, which was established in 1955, 40 national associations are members, one of which is BSSA, and they serve ships in more than 500 ports in the world. ISSA members must adhere to the organization's code of ethics for fair and just trading, high standards of service and best business practices. The organization publishes The Ship Supplier magazine.

The 66th Convention in the Spanish city of Seville was attended by more than 360 representatives of the shipping business, ship suppliers, companies related to services accompanying the shipping business and 20 owners and managers of shipping companies attended the 66th convention in the Spanish city of Seville. There was an exhibition with company stands, innovations in shipping cyber security were presented and successful B2B meetings were held. During the conferences, the topics of sustainability, decarbonization and the green future of shipping, which are part of the global shipping business, were discussed.
